I was just watching this (with subtitles) and it's the most adorable film ever. Gay teenagers in love. Wheeee! A gay film that is not depressing! I just finished watching a gay movie called Weekend (2011) which was recommended to me by a girl in my class (she's kinda like a neo-hippie, everything is about love and poetry and the whole world is beautiful. Update: Talked to my mother again and things are hopefully not as imminently fatal as she made it sound last night. Of course my uncle (or is it great-uncle since he's my grandmother's brother?) is 90 y.o. so things can change to the worse at any moment but as it is he seems stable and thinks they're just making a big fuss over nothing. We're thinking of buying some gay films for the library. Brokeback Mountain of course when it comes out and then some more. Any recommendations?
